Chadwicks Group has marked a major expansion in Northern Ireland as The Panelling Centre and Sitetech open its doors for the first time in Belfast.
The new branch, located in Ravenhill Business Park, has created eight new local jobs and brings the two specialist businesses together under one roof. Tradespeople across Belfast and Northern Ireland will have access to specialist kitchens, wardrobes and construction and civil engineering products, backed by expert advice and support.
Former Ulster Rugby player Chris Henry officially opened the new store, joining customers and colleagues to mark its arrival in Belfast. To celebrate the opening, there will be exclusive deals on appliances, kitchens and worktops to trade customers until 29 August, while stocks last.
The local team will be led by Amanda Bothwell, who carries 20 years of industry experience having spent 11 years with Homebase, followed by nine years with Doorways. Amanda also completed Chadwicks Group's Leadership Development Programme (LDP) before progressing to her new role as Branch Manager at Ravenhill.
Over almost 50 years, The Panelling Centre has built a strong reputation for quality kitchens and wardrobes, expert advice and dependable service. The Belfast branch will stock a core kitchen range, including 20 kitchen door styles, eight worktop options, cabinets, storage solutions, sinks, taps, bins, handles, accessories and appliances.
A selection of wardrobes will also be available, while kitchen displays throughout the branch will give customers the opportunity to view a range of styles and finishes first-hand. Customers will also have access to the full extended range, available to order.
Established in 2011, Sitetech specialises in concrete and brickwork accessories for the construction and civil engineering sectors. The Ravenhill branch will stock almost 2,500 Sitetech product lines, backed by an experienced team providing customers with technical advice and product expertise.
John Paul O'Reilly, Managing Director Specialist Products Division at Chadwicks Group, said: "Opening the first The Panelling Centre and Sitetech branch in Northern Ireland is a significant milestone for Chadwicks Group. Belfast has a thriving construction sector, and this new branch gives local tradespeople access to two specialist businesses, an extensive product range and expert support all under one roof.
"We're particularly pleased to create eight new jobs as part of this investment and to have an experienced local team in place to support customers from Belfast and across Northern Ireland."
Amanda Bothwell, Branch Manager at The Panelling Centre and Sitetech Belfast, said: "It's incredibly exciting to be leading the team as The Panelling Centre and Sitetech as we open our first branch in Northern Ireland. Having worked in the industry for 20 years, I know how important it is for tradespeople to have access not only to the right products, but also to knowledgeable people who understand what they need. We're looking forward to becoming a trusted destination for tradespeople in Belfast and across Northern Ireland."
