Onduline Building Products has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of John Alderman as National Specification Manager, bringing more than 30 years of construction and roofing industry experience to the business.
Alderman joins Onduline having held roofing sales and specification roles with leading organisations, including Marley, SIG Roofing and Surespan, where he built extensive expertise across new build, refurbishment and heritage projects.
Working closely with architects, consulting engineers and roofing contractors, he has overseen projects from initial specification through to completion, giving him a strong understanding of the technical and commercial requirements needed to successfully deliver roofing solutions.
Having worked with Onduline products throughout his career, Alderman was already familiar with the manufacturer's portfolio. In his new role, he will focus on expanding Onduline's specification pipeline by strengthening relationships with architects, specifiers, roofing contractors and tile manufacturers. Working closely with the wider team, he will help convert more specifications into completed projects while supporting the continued market growth of the Isoline Low Line range and Onduline's heritage refurbishment portfolio.
