Quanex Hardware Solutions has appointed Michele Hocking to the role of Internal Sales Key Account Manager for its growing Zoo Hardware brand.
Hocking, who has more than 20 years industry experience, will focus on supporting key customers directly with their requirements, as well as working with the wider Zoo sales team with a focus on training and development.
Having recently joined the Carlisle-based hardware manufacturer, Hocking is integrating herself into the Key Accounts team and meeting customers from across the country to understand their hardware requirements and upcoming projects.
She said: "It's been great getting to know everyone here at Zoo, as well as meeting with our customers. My aim here is to strengthen sales support for our customers through knowledge and training – adding extra value to our customers' projects while building strong relationships.
"At the heart of my role is open communication, so I've been investing time getting to know all the different departments here, from the warehouse to our ASMs – it all contributes to a stronger service for our customers.
"We've got a really positive team who are excited for the future and the ambition of the brand is part of what attracted me to the role."
