The appointment further strengthens CPI's mission to make trusted product information the benchmark across the built environment.
Chris Hayward has been appointed a Non-Executive Director of CPI Ltd, the independently governed organisation behind the Code for Construction Product Information.
Hayward brings over 20 years' experience leading NMBS, helping grow it into the UK's largest buying group for independent building, plumbing, hardware and timber merchants, with more than 1,150 members and over 4,500 branches.
His knowledge of the construction supply chain and experience in digital transformation will be invaluable as CCPI continues to support the industry's drive for higher standards in product information.
At a time when construction product reform is high on the industry's agenda, CCPI's role in promoting clear, accurate and accessible product information has never been more important.
Hayward has been a supporter of CCPI since its inception, and his appointment further strengthens our mission to make trusted product information the benchmark across the built environment.
Hayward also begins a new role as a Non-Executive Chair at NBG on 1 July.
